While our national parks are owned by the American people, many aspects of our Parks are not funded by tax money. For example, while the Park maintains and operates facilities such as campgrounds and the Loomis Museum, the Park is not authorized to sell guidebooks, maps and other interpretive products that make a park visit complete. Today, most national parks depend on non-profit organizations called "cooperating associations" to provide a wealth of resources the Park simply cannot supply. These associations also provide a wonderful way for individulas to support their favorite national park, creating an important link between person and Park. Lassen Loomis Museum Association is YOUR opportunity to help Lassen Volcanic National Park.
